But solid food is for full grown men, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.  Hebrews 5:14 ESV
Exodus 15
I find it such an amazing thing how much Moses gave up everything and anything he could have ever wanted and the incredible love for the Lord he had, though he wasn’t even raised in the ways of Israel.  God can and will use anyone.  Moses sings that God is the God of his father yet it doesn’t even say anything about his own father.  The riches of God are so much greater than what this world could ever possibly give me.  The goodness of our Lord just makes us want to sing and dance!  Well, His goodness sure does this for me!
25 And he cried to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a log and he threw it into the water, and the water became sweet.  There the Lord made for them a statute and a rule, and there he tested them, 26 saying, “If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.”

There was no water to drink and with the obedience of Moses, the water became fresh.  The people ended up camping in a place of abundant water from fresh springs and palm trees which was a beautiful place.  God’s timing is perfect and we are tested in this life so we know whether or not we trust God.  His end is always good for me!
Psalms 69
David prophetically describes some of what our Messiah will experience.  As always God comes through in the end and all is brought to good.
Romans 10
It is great to have zeal for the Lord but not without knowledge or things can really get messed up.  Maturing takes time and we need that time to tenderize us, so to speak.  Righteousness NEVER comes from dead works!  I will not be put to shame.  I do not say this arrogantly but with humility and can say it because I trust in my God!  Lord, prepare the hearts of the ministers in Cambodia and India to hear Your Word and grow their faith!  Let us deliver Your Word by Your leading only.  We want fruit in the lives of these people, Lord!  Thank You that You allow us to be “sent ones”.  May I be sent everyday no matter if it’s next door or across the globe, always seeking You for what to say and how to say it, for Your glory only, my God!
Meditate & Apply: God can and will use anyone no matter the imperfections a person has as long as they are committed with a full heart of love towards the Lord.  Actually He will even use the evil ones who hate Him to benefit His people and to bring glory to God.  I’ve really been thinking about the testing of the Lord because it has been in the reading quite often lately.  It brings me to remember about being tested in nursing school.  I am not bragging at all when I tell you that I got a 3.9 out of 4 grade point average (GPA) for both my associates and bachelors in nursing degrees.  I studied and studied hard for these grades.  I took this seriously as I thought it a great responsibility to nurse people to health and never wanted to harm anyone.  It is certainly not that I am smart because I have an average IQ and was a high school dropout at the end of my junior year.  I had to do two years in one (junior and senior) to graduate with my class.  I certainly do not want to fail the testing of my God of which I also did in my past.  He has been so good to me that I have no right whatsoever to not pass His tests.  I can as I truly trust and love Him, renewing my mind with His Word, mediating it and applying it.  A few weeks ago someone at church called me “wise”.  The only wisdom in me is from God and Him alone.  Given to myself I am a complete fool, BUT GOD!  Only He is deserving of all the glory.  I just need to study His ways to show myself approved, a workman that never needs to be ashamed in Him.
