9 Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that I may discern between good and evil, for who is able to govern this your great people?” 1 Kings 3:9 ESV
Exodus 16
Grumble, grumble, grumble.  Lord, don’t let me get away with grumbling about anything!  It is not pretty!  Grumbling is not really against man, it is against the Lord.  Having a poverty mentality which shows a lack of trust in the Lord is like the manna that “bred worms and stank”!  How many times does God provide and then people don’t trust Him for provision for the next time.  They just had bitter water turned fresh and were led to springs of water.  God gave them quail for dinner and bread for breakfast.  Their clothes and shoes never wore out and grew with the children!  How many times did the Lord have to feed the multitudes for the disciples to get this same principal that they should have known about from Torah?  How many times does God have to prove Himself before a person will trust Him?
Thank You Lord for a day of rest in You with the brethren in worship to You and with You at home afterwards!  The manna appeared for 40 years!
Psalms 70-71
70 Once again through what David is experiencing with the mentality of those who rise up against him, he prophetically describes some of the experiences our Lord will also go through.
71 Again, this is about David’s circumstances but it is also prophetic about Messiah.  One thing is true and that no matter what David is experiencing, He turns to praise and worship declaring the greatness of God.  Circumstances will flee but my relationship with my God is forever!
Romans 11

Thank You Lord that You have never forsaken anyone who calls on Your Name!  Unbelief eliminates branches whereas faith allows for the branches to stay or be re-grafted into the Tree of Life, our Lord Yeshua.  All Israel will one day be Born Again!  It seems to me we often use the following scripture out of context, yet it does apply to what is former and cannot truly be lost. 29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.  The next few scriptures is absolutely profound to me!
32 For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all.  33 Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! When people are lost, should we not desire the mercy of God upon them as since His mercy is upon us?
Meditate & Apply: Not being content with where God has me is called grumbling and after 10 times the people grumbled at God they died in the wilderness.  This is quite a sobering thought!  I should never, ever want something than what the Lord assigns me to.  It is my reasonable service!  It is so good to follow God even through the dry and thirsty places for He will always take me through and lead me to a beautiful place.  Unbelief eliminates branches whereas faith allows for the branches to stay or be re-grafted into the Tree of Life, our Lord Yeshua.  God’s desire is to place His mercy on all!  What an awesome God I serve!
