For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21 ESV
It is not wise to complain before the Lord in the middle of deliverance (or any other time for that matter!). I appreciate how open Moses was with the Lord. I can talk to my God about anything and everything! It is interesting though that Moses questioned God about how He would get meat to the people considering the great miracles of the parting of the sea and the spoil to build the tabernacle with the anointing of craftsmanship to do so, and all the rest the Lord did even before getting them out of Egypt. I cannot lose sight of what the Lord has already done in my life and know that nothing is impossible for Him. Craving food killed people. Food is a god to some people and it is absolutely displeasing to the Lord. Diets come and go but the reality is that each of us must discipline our flesh so that it loses its cravings for they are abhorrent to the Lord.
Today so far is about the importance of disciplining the flesh against cravings. I must yearn for my Lord so my flesh cannot act up against Him.
Holiness comes from the real fear of the Lord. Correction is needed so that people stick it out to the end with the Lord. There is a godly grief and a soulish grief. The godly grief brings repentance and then refreshing even to the soul. Soulish grief can swallow up a person. When others have faith it brings rejoicing to all.
Meditate & Apply: Grumbling to another is grumbling to the Lord so just don’t do it! Seriously, he hears it all! I cannot lose sight of what the Lord has already done in my life and know that nothing is impossible for Him. I must yearn for my Lord so my flesh cannot act up against Him. Holiness comes from the real fear of the Lord. Correction is necessary for all of us so we endure to the end. I would rather face correction in the fear of the Lord than be left to soulish ways that are foolish.
. I must yearn for my Lord so my flesh cannot act up against Him. This is a daily lay at the cross for me. Some days I get stupid, but Iâm always measure my flesh against his word of discipline. Some days I do better than others. It has gotten easier regarding food cravings.
Yes, the flesh works hard to get us off track but we can do all things through our Lord! Thank You Lord Yeshua!
Correction from the Lord with godly repentance always gives me peace and freedom.
