April 4
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, Ephesians 1:7 ESV

Numbers 19

1 John 1: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
John 15: Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.
Acts 22:16 And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.’
Acts 10:15 And the voice came to him again a second time, “What God has made clean, do not call common.”
1 John 1:But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

I am so very grateful for the shed blood of my Lord Yeshua so I am clean in God's sight!

Proverbs 14
I am to be a wise woman and build my house and of course this means first and foremost in the Lord.
4 Where there are no oxen, the manger is clean, but abundant crops come by the strength of the ox.
Work is not necessarily “clean” yet it is what produces abundance.
Following God’s way produces abundant living vs my own way which would only lead to death.  I was headed to death but because of my Lord Yeshua I have been brought into His life!
Helping the poor is always important to the Lord.  Lord, show me ways here (not just through missions) that I can be more helpful to the poor.

2 Corinthians 13

I must daily examine myself to make sure I am steadfastly in faith in Lord Yeshua!  If confrontation with correction is necessary for those I love then I must love enough to do so.  I certainly have sorrow when people fall away from the Lord.

Meditate & Apply: I am cleansed by the blood of Yeshua, my Lord, my Savior!  Building my house and the house of the Lord is mandatory in my life.  I am glad I was instilled with a work ethic and that we instilled that in our children.  Though I currently cannot do many of the tasks of the past there are still many I can.  I truly don’t believe in retirement.  I love spending time with my friend Doni who at 82 and her husband at 85 are spending 6 months a year doing missions work in Taiwan, still authoring books, etc.  They have let go of one season of their life in the Lord and moving on to the next and age is not a barrier for them to work.  We just had friends from Canada here and at 90, Bill and his wife still work 4 days a week!  Praise be to God!  Lord, show me ways to help and not enable the poor in my community.  I am responsible to examine myself daily and make the adjustments according to the Lord’s way of doing things.  I am also responsible to confront with correction if it can possibly save someone from harm and even death.

Only Jesus Christ could right the relationship we broke with God through sin. Thank You, Lord! Therefore, we are to live for Him.

Sowing and reaping! I have a new appreciation for working. Thank you.

Yes, Lord, show me ways in which I can help!

Yes, especially working for eternal things!

Yes Lord, show me how to help the poor more too. We never retire from the work of the Lord, that'd be quitting.

Yes, good way of putting it, quitting!
