April 8
Gail preached a great message last night.  Bob is preaching on Wednesday night and truly, you don’t want to miss it!
For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.  Romans 5:10 ESV
Numbers 26

The daughters of Zelophehad, Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah are significant for Jewish women because they opened the door for women under the Law to receive inheritance.  Our God is a Just God.  He would have the Promised Land divided in size by population.  As I am looking at this chapter I am thinking how important it is to wait on the Lord for the details and once again see He has everything covered concerning His people.  I don’t need to know every last detail about what the Lord is doing in my life for He will always bring me to good and has considered the details down to the very smallest.  As always, my job is to trust Him and not be anxious about anything.  This way of living sure takes the stress off of me!
Proverbs 18
To isolate oneself is an error because God created us to be a part of each other’s’ lives.  Isolation puts life focus on self instead of the Lord and others and this never has a good outcome.
The words of a man's mouth are deep waters;
the fountain of wisdom is a bubbling brook.

As I run to You my Lord, I am safe!  I know that my God wants me humble and never haughty because haughtiness displeases Him and causes stumbling into sin but humility brings gladness to His heart and is a great protection for me.  I pray often for the Lord to never let me get prideful for it is so ugly to Him and it always causes destruction.  I think it is one of the most used tools of the enemy to get us in sin because his own fall was due to pride.  Lord, help me to wait for people to finish what they are saying before I chime in.  Me not waiting is impatience and this is not pleasing to You.
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.

Galatians 4
My husband has favor because he found me, a good thing  :).
I am a daughter of God and therefore I was placed in the will and testament of my Lord to receive an inheritance.  Legalism does not please my Father and truth be told I dislike legalism so very much!  I am a child of God under the Promise and not the Law.  This brings me great benefit.  I am a child of the free woman thus I am in the Covenant with God that gives me freedom!  This quote is one the Lord gave me as a promise before my son Jason came along and it is quoted in Galatians from Isaiah 54:1:
27 “Rejoice, O barren one who does not bear;
break forth and cry aloud, you who are not in labor!
For the children of the desolate one will be more
than those of the one who has a husband.”

Meditate & Apply: I don’t have to ever be anxious about anything because my God has everything taken care of on my behalf.  Steer clear from pride and impatience.  Legalism is never a good thing.  My Lord has set me free so why would I want to be all tied up?  I am a child of Promise and God’s promises to me are always “yes and amen”!

Yes, i agree, Lord, help me to wait for people to finish what they are saying before I chime in. Thank You Lord our husbands have favor! We walk with no anxiety!

Amen! Chiming in too early. I can't blame it on my behavioral style when I know. I have a new nature to be self-controlled. Sigh.

It's important to know God to Trust God. I'm so glad we read the word every day. But, even with this daily endeavor, it still takes me an effort to trust when I can't see the full picture.

What a reminder. I agree. Pride is an easy weapon for the enemy to use. It usually is the root of something I'm getting anxious over. Ugh! Begone, pride! Trust in the Lord requires humility for sure!

I had to read that verse in Galatians over, but it's so God. He uses what everything else would declare weak to demonstrate His goodness, strength, power. What a wonderful God!

As always, my job is to trust Him and not be anxious about anything. This way of living sure takes the stress off of me! I so agree with this....

What a blessing to trust God without knowing all the details. Too many would probably overwhelm me anyway! I trust God to open doors and shut doors in the life of my son John and his future with precious daughter-to-be Nina.
