But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:20-22 ESV
Though Esau was rebellious, the Lord had mercy upon him and as a son of Isaac, gave him an inheritance of land. Even in wilderness experiences the Lord is with me and I lack nothing. The Lord also remembered Lot on behalf of the prayers of Abraham. Our prayers for others are so very significant. All of the promises of God don’t necessarily just fall into my hands. I do have to battle (in the Spirit) for them. I don’t fight flesh and blood and God has equipped me to contend and win against spiritual forces through prayer. I must take possession of what the Lord has given me and occupy it. As I do this by the Word of the Lord, I have victory. All of the evil in the way of the promise must be destroyed through prayer and the Word of the Lord.
Lord, may righteousness increase in our governing leaders and may evil be taken out. Loving the wisdom of my God makes Him glad. There is joy in the heart of a righteous one. Undisciplined children bring shame. Hear and follow the prophetic vision for success. Safety comes in fearing the Lord. God is the giver of justice.
Rejoice. It is necessary to have repetition of the Word. Knowing my Messiah is the greatest knowledge I will ever possess.
…10 that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead. 12 Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. 13 Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
According to the Word that follows, the above is the thinking of mature Believers. Earthly things are just that but eternal things will last me forever.
Meditate & Apply: I am NEVER left or forsaken by the Lord! My prayers for others matter significantly. My battle against the spiritual forces matter. God is ALWAYS Just. The fear of Him in my life takes care of ALL. Repetition in the Word of the Lord brings me to know Him better and understand the reality of His Truth. I must keep pressing on for what lies ahead for nothing earthly will be with me in eternity. Worldly items are just that.
Agreed, we are never forsaken by God, and our prayers do matter, and the importance of them, never to be forgotten by Him.
"I donât fight flesh and blood and God has equipped me to contend and win against spiritual forces through prayer." - Thank you for the reminders!
"I must take possession of what the Lord has given me and occupy it. As I do this by the Word of the Lord, I have victory. All of the evil in the way of the promise must be destroyed through prayer and the Word of the Lord. " - Again, take my authority.
Proverbs - all, amen, but this stood out: "Undisciplined children bring shame. Hear and follow the prophetic vision for success. Safety comes in fearing the Lord. God is the giver of justice. " Children can very much challenge the vision God gave you to steward them wisely. But, if we want success, we stick to that vision.
Be a mature believer - have the mind of Christ and readjust attitude when it doesn't line up. God ALREADY loves you.
KEEP PRESSING ON!
Thank God he never leaves us, always loves us. Our prayers are important, they do make a difference, and oftentimes during prayer for others we can get revelation for our own lives. Repetition in the word certain causes growth, and deliverance if need be!
