April 22
What an awesome drama yesterday!  Thanks to all who invited people and now we must continue to pray and witness to them.
For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are wiyout excuse. Romans 1:20 ESV

Deuteronomy 5
Here and do the Word of the Lord.
  1.     I am the Lord, your God.
  2.     You shall bring no false idols before me.
  3.     Do not take the name of the Lord in vain.
  4.     Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy.
  5.     Honor thy father and thy mother.
  6.     You shall not kill/murder.
  7.     You shall not commit adultery.
  8.     You shall not steal.
  9.     You shall not bear false witness.
  10.   You shall not covet.
I sure don’t think it a good idea to throw these out!  Lord help our Nation!  Lord, show us Your Glory and Greatness!
Ecclesiastes 1
There truly is nothing “new” under the sun.  I am  speaking of the way of God and the way of man.
Colossians 2
I find it interesting we are reading the Book of Wisdom (Ecclesiastes) when the truth is that all wisdom comes from understanding Messiah and what His death and resurrection means and did.  In Him “are hidden all of the treasures of wisdom and knowledge”.  It is one thing to “know” about the Lord and a completely different thing to “know” the Lord.  Without faith, knowing Him is impossible.  Legalism kills faith.
Meditate & Apply: Why would anyone want to throw out the commands of the Lord?  Without them evil prevails!  God’s Word has never changed and it never will.  Human nature is the same as it always has been – full of sin without the Lord.  All mystery has been fulfilled in our Messiah.

Good point on Ecclesiastes. Yes we want to know Him, not just about Him, that's what makes the difference!

Yes Lord, thank you for your wisdom and thank you for your commandments.
