April 26
Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.  Hebrews 7:25 ESV
Deuteronomy 12-13

The Lord is Just.  He reiterates time and time again what pleases Him and what constitutes sin.  It is always based on righteousness and justness, never favoritism.  Sin comes from evil, righteousness from good.  Goodness is only possible with a REAL relationship with my Lord trying to imitate His ways.  Bottom line to me is that God wants to continuously bless His people and we choose whether or not we receive His blessings or not.  Filling stomachs with tithes/offerings is stealing from God.  I think it good to be a little hungry now and then so we can be grateful for the food blessings we are given continuously from the Lord.  To me not giving my tithe and offerings first is like not paying a bill due and ending up homeless.  Extreme?  How much more extreme is it to steal from the Lord?  Idolatry is putting ANYTHING before God.
We would have to put a lot of “prophet/dreamers” to death in this day and age as there are so many false doctrines floating around even from once Bible teaching people!  People, be careful who you listen to, watch, and follow!  If it’s not 100% Biblical Truth, stop doing it!  Purge the evil from your midst (eyes and ears)!
Ecclesiastes 5
This chapter starts off like the Deuteronomy chapters!  Fear God and speak little, while living out the will of my God.  It is difficult not to be amazed at the injustice in this world but it should not take me by any surprise at all.  Being financially wealthy doesn’t bring peace or joy in life.  Fearing the Lord does and with that comes all of His blessings.  Joy is a wonderful gift from my Lord.
1 Thessalonians 2
Going through struggles is never a reason to not minister the Gospel.  I have had to stop listening to some ministers because they don’t speak the whole truth.  I care more what God thinks than having my ears tickled.
Meditate & Apply: Fear God and live according to His will and be filled with the true riches and He will take care of it all.  Every good and perfect gift comes from God.  Don’t talk just to talk but instead speak what pleases my Father.

Amen, watch what we see and hear. Good advice, don't talk just to talk but speak what pleases the Father.
