April 30
Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, Ephesians 4:15 ESV

Deuteronomy 17

I am so glad that the Lord sees me unblemished because of what my Lord has done for me at the Cross!  I know the Lord knew when He talks about not to worship the sun and moon He had a much focused purpose.  If you study about Mohammed you will learn that he was a worshipper of the sun and moon.  Look at some of the flags of the Muslim countries…especially crescent and moon flags.
God dislikes presumptuous behavior.  Truly fearing the Lord God Almighty keeps people out of sin.  Our law in the US is based on this instruction to not put a foreign born person over a nation as king (president in our case).  Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our elected presidents had to write and read the Word every day as part of their requirement to preside in that office?  I would love for our President to do OHA!

Ecclesiastes 9
No one gets out alive in the physical sense though there seems to be two who did; Elijah and Enoch but some theologians think three and include Moses and what about Melchizedek?   Nonetheless, this is it on earth for us so I must use my days for the Lord and what He has given me to participate in and enjoy.  I am glad to know I am P. Jason’s portion, LOL!  What a blessed guy he is!

17 The words of the wise heard in quiet are better than the shouting of a ruler among fools.

2 Thessalonians 1

I must give thanks for those growing in faith, so I give thanks for those reading this today.  There is a day coming when all of the Lord’s beloved will be released from all earthly affliction!  Hallelujah!

Meditate & Apply: So many of our laws and statutes originally came from the Word, both Old and New Testaments.  What a wonderful thing for a national leader to have to write and read the Word of God daily.  What an honor it is for me to be able to do so.  We are so blessed to have so many translations and commentaries and word study resources!  Lord, help me to fulfill what needs to be done each day and enjoy it while it’s happening.  Let me never begrudge any work because you have risen me from the sick bed and I am able to do quite a bit.  For this I give You so much thanksgiving and praise.  I don’t think people realize how awful it is not to be able to do any kind of work.  I do give thanks for those growing in faith for it is such a joy to my heart!  Affliction will never be again!

Yes lord, may our leaders grow closer to you and not promote Sin. Thank you Lord for our husbands being blessed!

Yes! OHA for all! Yes! Abide the time and be a blessing! Hallelujah! Be released from this flesh! Be with Jesus! Yippeee!

I agree. To not do any work...ugh!!! Each year has presented some sort of physical challenge, which then has taken a toll on every aspect. But God! He sees me through ALL THE TIME! What a wonderful, faithful God we serve! Hallelujah!
