Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Proverbs 31:30 ESV
Keeping covenant with the Lord brings prosperity. It is not difficult to keep covenant with Him because He shows us over and over again that He is our Provider, meeting every need. The Covenant was made with those standing there with Moses but also for those of us who weren’t standing there but are standing with Him now.
29 The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.
Thank You Lord for leaving remnant survivors. I am to live just, loving others as the Lord has loved me so I will care for them as He directs me. My God desires His people to reason with Him and see that doing good brings blessing every time. Zion will be redeemed by the Lord’s doing in His Justice and those who repent filled with righteousness.
2 Timothy 4
Not only preach the Word, staying ready to do so, but reprove, rebuke and exhort in patience and teaching so the people understand. Keep it simple, even if it’s deep. We are living in the days when many don’t keep sound doctrine so I must continue to avail myself to the Truth as led by the Spirit. I want to be able to say that I have fought the good fight, finished the race while keeping faith. There will be deserters as there were to Yeshua, Paul and of course many others.
Meditate & Apply: Keeping the Lord’s Covenant brings me blessing. You, Lord, are my Provider and give to me everything I need. I can live Your Word for You have given it to me. Justice and Righteousness are prized by God so I must make sure I am living just and righteous. Zion will receive Her redemption as God has promised. I must always be ready to share the Good News in full capacity with all that it teaches. As I keep focused on You Lord, I won't get distracted.
Love that the covenant is for us, too. God is faithful to His covenant! Stay strong in the Lord and the power of His might. Faith pleases God. Amen! Yes. Keep my focus on God! Don't get distracted!
Thank you Lord for pastors who stick to sound doctrine. Help us Lord keep our focus solely on You.
