Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.

Romans 12:10 ESV
Joshua 10

Covenant vows hold weight with God.  Though Joshua was supposed to annihilate the Gibeonites but instead cut covenant with them, God helped Joshua have victory over those attacking the Gibeonites.  I have seen huge hailstones in my day but nothing like the size of one that could kill people!  This will happen again in the end of days.  Joshua had the confidence to speak to the sun and moon knowing that God would heed his words which he spoke.  This is the kind of faith I want to walk in!  I know that Joshua spent his days before the Lord when Moses was in lead a whole lot more than I do…God fighting on my behalf means there is absolutely no one or nothing that can stand against me and prevail.  Hallelujah!
Isaiah 14
No one can change the plans of the Lord.
Hebrews 8
It is so wonderful knowing that I am the benefactor of the perfect Covenant made by our Lord Yeshua at the Cross!
Meditate & Apply: Covenant.  God fighting on my behalf leaves no place for anyone or anything having victory over me even if He needs to stop the sun and moon in their place.  God has only good plans for me and no one can change them.  I am the benefactor of a perfect Covenant.  Wow, wow, wow!  Bottom line – if God be for me, no one can ever truly be against me!

Yes to walk in that kind of faith that knows God will control natural elements on our behalf wow! Thank you Jesus for your perfect covenant!

Amen! I agree! The God kind of faith is the bondage-breaking, miracle-working, light in the dark spiritual power God desires us to walk in. Thank You, Jesus!

Love your bottom line! I pondered on how Joshua spoke to the sun and moon, too. The faith of God is the authority I need to speak to the sun, moon, mountain, whatever is needed for the victory. And God gave it to us? Whoa!

Yes! I am grateful for the Covenant we have with God. Amen!
