June 18
Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4 ESV
Judges 20

First, inquire of the Lord.  We will have to face difficult battles at times but don’t give up even if it seems we are losing at every turn.  Don’t allow faith to fall away.  Encourage myself in the Holy Spirit as David did.  It is sad when it is brother against brother but this should come as no surprise to anyone since the first brothers did the same.
Isaiah 42
The Justice of our Lord Yeshua is coming to the earth.  God is telling us for new things springing forth by His Will.  I can sing with joy for one day His righteousness will rule!  It is not just man that sin is against but it is against God.
Luke 20
I read this first paragraph and think about people who refuse the Lord and His truth and how they seem to not be able to answer a direct question and tend to twist and turn their own answers.  Those who deny the Lord can think they have killed Him but He is more alive than anyone, risen on the third day after crucifixion, in the Kingdom of Heaven and soon to return for His saints!
25 He said to them, “Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.”
If there was no resurrection, what would be the point of life?  Those that live a sinful life who are supposed ministry leaders will face greater punishment.
Meditate & Apply: Sometimes the battle seems overwhelming BUT GOD will always get me to victory.  Evil will be on this earth until our Lord returns.  One cannot say they love God and live sinfully.  Well, they can say it but it is not the truth.  God is not dead, He is alive!  I have to give the world certain things because I temporarily am living  on this earth in the world system but I actually live in the Kingdom of God so must all give God His due.

Yes, continue to persevere in Him, because we know we ultimately have the victory which has been provided by Him. Thank you Lord for the victory.

I've always thought that the resurrection represents so much hope, and gives us all the hope we need for each day. Jesus is alive! and He is our help, wow!

Don’t allow faith to fall away. = amen! True. Fight and contend for our faith, doing what we know is right, but be careful of the question we ask.

Sin IS against God AND man. Hmmm. If we don't hate our own flesh, why would we sin? Yikes! Have the mind of Christ! Without God, without a Biblical perspective (not I read the Bible once), we forget that God is Life. Oh, Lord, thank You for Your great mercy!
