JULY
The first half of 2019 is behind us.  This is a great time to evaluate how our walk is going with the Lord and seek Him for where we need correction...
July 1

For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. Romans 12:3 ESV

1 Samuel 13
Faith means to trust the Lord no matter how big the enemy & circumstances may look against us. I must stick to the office the Lord places me in and not try to operate in someone else’s anointing.  The Lord is interested in working with people after His own heart.

Isaiah 56-57
56 Salvation is for all who believe, Jew or Gentile, Male or Female, Slave or Free (Galatians 3:28).
57 Peace comes to all who walk with the Lord.  The Lord likens idolatry unto adultery.  He sees the foolishness of someone worshiping a man-made idol or even another human with the same flaws we all have (except for the Lord who never sinned when He was as a man on earth).

Acts 9
Though with fear and trembling, Ananias did what the Lord told him concerning Saul.  This is a great picture of faith.  The Lord here declares that Saul will be the disciple that brings the Gospel to the gentiles (and kings and Israelites).  Other than the Jews at this time heard the Gospel.  The Lord also declared about the suffering Saul would face.
Thank You Lord for multiplying Believers in this day!  As our Lord Yeshua healed, His disciples can lay hands on the sick for healing and even raise the dead because He has given us the authority and anointing to do so, to do His work on the earth in His Name.

Meditate & Apply: Absolutely no one is unsavable in the eyes of our Lord so I should never think someone too evil to come to Lord Yeshua and this point is very well presented in the life of Paul (Saul who gets renamed Paul).  Salvation is for anyone who believes.  Interesting we are reading at the same time about King Saul in the OT and Saul who penned most of the NT by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Not important – just saying.
I just need to do what I am called by the Lord to do.  No circumstance is too big for faith in God (Mark 11:22-).

I thought it was interesting about the contrast of the two SWaul's - one was pretty instantly obedient once God got to him, the other had a undercurrent of rebellion, doing things his own way instead of waiting for Samuel. When God asks us to do something, doing it while afraid is ok, He gives us strength and scripture to uphold us.

The Lord is interested in working with people after His own heart. Thank you Lord that the multitude has a heart after you.
