July 14
If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.  John 15:10 NASB
1 Samuel 28

Some things never change.  Lawlessness occurred by the politician as it does with so many today.  If Saul had heeded the voice of the Lord when he could hear him, none of what was to happen to Saul by the mouth of Samuel would have been avoided.  Lesson here is seek God but do what He says for He is the only one who knows the end from the beginning.
Jeremiah 4
The Lord requires that if we are with Him, to live as He does in truth, justice and righteousness.  It matters not what someone else does, only that I choose rightly.  The Lord is interested in a circumcised heart (Romans 2:25-29), not the works of the flesh.  It is in the heart that either good or evil comes from.
Acts 22
The Lord’s love is so incredible He seeks those who aren’t even looking for Him as He did with Paul on the road to Damascus.  I am so grateful for my “Damascus Road” experience!  Paul witnessed to many on his way to the stocks and had influence because of his Roman citizenship.  This is one of those, “But God” moments.
Meditate & Apply: Seek God but do what He says for He is the only one who knows the end from the beginning.  The Lord enables me to live in truth, justice and righteousness so I can as it is a choice.  I need a clean heart as the Lord defines this, daily, and I can have one as I keep a relationship with Him.  God’s plans will never be stopped for me until He wants me to go home to my heavenly life with Him.
