He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Matthew 16:15-16 ESV

2 Samuel 7

Accept God’s plans for me and don’t interfere with what He wants to do in someone else’s life.  David was grateful for the promises God gave Him, shrugged at none and knew that if God says it, it comes to pass.

Jeremiah 12
People with a relationship with God ask and God answers.

James 2
God does not show partiality so I cannot.  I am not speaking of those who reject Him but those of differing “classes”.
10 For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it.
13 For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Faith without works is always dead yet dead works never produce faith.

Meditate & Apply:  Gratefulness goes a long way with the Lord!  Ask anything of my Lord and He will answer me.  Faith without works is always dead yet dead works never produce faith.

Lots to think about. Great truths! Judging and faith. We really need a clean heart to hear and see well. We really need that intimate relationship with God to keep His perspective. Without faith, David would not have been able to stand on the Lord's promises as a "done deal." Our work is to believe in God and Jesus Christ, and everything that means.
