Please pray for peace on Mauna Kea and no violence breaks out during the protests.
It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice. Psalm 112:5 ESV
2 Samuel 10
When the Lord is for me, who can possibly, in reality, be against me?
There are times when people go too far in rejecting the Lord and He is not wanting to hear the prayers on behalf of these people unless they are willing to give up their wickedness. I must adjust my prayers based on the need and not just what I want. I understand the heartbreak when people choose rebellion against the Lord to do things their own way. I am grateful it was not too late for me! His mercy still astounds me. There are still lying prophets in our day. If the words that come forth are not aligned with the Word of God, they are lies. God IS truth. My hope is safe because it is in You, Lord. What can one hope for in the world system?
As I turn to the Lord, He pours forth His peace, grace and His mercy on me. There is no other place I want to turn to for the world’s system has no lasting peace, grace and mercy for me.
17 So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.
Meditate & Apply: The Lord is with me. Pray in faith, in accordance with His will. There is always hope for the absolute hopeless unless the Lord says otherwise. Discernment is a spiritual gift given by the Lord to protect us from evil. I must use it so I am not taken out like I was in the past. Walking with my Lord brings me peace, grace and mercy. I can’t think of any greater gifts to have operating in my life!
Your comment about hope for the hopeless reminds me of people I have crossed paths with that I felt were hopeless. The Lord delighted in showing me wrong when they would come to me to ask about Jesus or for prayer. No one is beyond God's reach, I must remember this.
Yes, too many suicides because people "feel" hopeless but there is always hope!
Amen! Spiritual discernment is a gift and a must to exercise. Lord, we thank You for Your presence to descend on the people protesting on Mauna Kea. Many of them are forgetting who You are and who You are supposed to be in their lives. We thank You, Father, for Your forgiveness. May Your peace that goes beyond all understanding strengthen those who love You. May there be no violence on the Mauna. Amen!
