July 26
Aloha OHA’s.  I did not realize that the daily reading was a bit different on the website than from the app.  It will soon match. (Thank you, Whitney!)  Today (the 27th actually), I am doing 2 days and I am going to continue to follow the web until it matches as that’s what I have been doing since the first of January.
2 Samuel 12

Walking continuously in the way of the Lord brings Him adding much more!  Not doing so affects so many other people.  Choices happen continuously throughout the day and as I have an intimate relationship with the Lord without becoming lazy with it, the more is added unto me (Matthew 6:33).  When a child of God is rebellious, to Him it is despising His Word.  David dealt with grief over his son wisely.  If I had a sentence to describe what happens in our lives as we make choices, it would simply be, “You reap what you sow”.  Yet, even in this, God’s grace is tremendous and when Solomon was born, God loved him.  Oh God, thank You again for Your grace and mercy that has been in and on my life from You!
Jeremiah 16
Israel is being restored in our life as told here by the prophet Jeremiah.
19 O Lord, my strength and my stronghold, my refuge in the day of trouble to you shall the nations come from the ends of the earth and say:  “Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, worthless things in which there is no profit.  20 Can man make for himself gods?  Such are not gods!”  21 “Therefore, behold, I will make them know, this once I will make them know my power and my might, and they shall know that my name is the Lord.”
1 Peter 1
Thank You Lord that Your grace and peace is upon me!  The outcome of enduring faith is the salvation of my soul!  Adversity is temporary, Hallelujah!  I can live holy for it is the Lord who enables me to do so and He is just and never asks of us that which we cannot accomplish.
24 for “All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass.
The grass withers, and the flower falls, 25 but the word of the Lord remains forever.”  And this word is the good news that was preached to you.

Meditate & Apply: Sow wisely so I reap the good of God.  Truly loving the Lord means loving His Word and applying it to my life continuously.  Thanksgiving and gratefulness barely describe what I have received because of the grace, mercy, peace and love of God.  What an exciting time to be living, with prophecy declared thousands of years happening at this time.
