September 6
Nice flight yesterday.  Phoenix was 108 today but the dry hot felt very good after being in all of this year’s humidity at home.  I need to catch up posting to the website, so I’ll just email this today.  We just had our “free” breakfast and will drive to Tucson to meet Josh and Patricia for lunch.  Afterwards, we head to Douglas to meet up with everyone.  Eric and family got in yesterday as Mika has a 10 am one-year pediatrician appointment today.  Christina (Jason and Miss’s daughter, Jared’s sister) is also driving in tonight for the weekend as her university is only about a three-hour drive to Douglas.  I am stoked that I will get to be with 2 grandchildren this weekend!  Thanks John and Whitney for the early drive yesterday to the airport!
Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.  John 14:23 ESV
2 Kings 11-12

It is always so nice to read about a king who followed after the Lord, receiving spiritual leading.  What a huge difference it makes of a nation over one who rebels against the Lord!  It is also wonderful to have honest people working on behalf of the Lord for His purposes.
Ezekiel 2
The Lord always has people who serve Him even in the days of rebellion against Him.
Revelation 13
Saints, we must have endurance in all things God no matter what the majority of people do in this world, our nation, our state our county and our district on the Big Island!
"But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.”  Matthew 24:13 NASB
Meditate & Apply: What speaks to me today is that endurance is vital and spiritual laziness is destructive.  I must stick close to my God and endure until the end!
