Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!  Psalm 27:14
2 Chronicles 9

It is always good to check the primary source of information.  The Scriptures are my primary source.  What are yours?  Solomon asked God for wisdom and his wisdom brought great wealth to him and Israel as God promised.
Ezekiel 44
We must still teach the difference between holy and common.  What greater inheritance can one have than the Lord, Himself?
Colossians 1

Attributes of a true Believer:
  • Filled with the knowledge of the Lord
  • All spiritual wisdom and understanding
  • Walk in a manner worthy of the Lord
  • Fully please Him
  • Bear good fruit by doing His work
  • Increase in the knowledge of God
  • Be strong according to His might
  • Endure and be patient with joy
  • Be thankful
  • Share in the inheritance of God with all saints
  • Live delivered from darkness and transferred to the Kingdom of God
  • Know I am redeemed and forgiven of sin
All things were created by our Lord and for our Lord.  His blood shed at the cross took care of it all.  I must continue steadfast in faith in stability, never shifting away from the Truth of the Gospel.  It is imperative that Believers are trained up in this true gospel and never succumb to anything outside of it.  His desire for us is that we be a mature body of believers, never unsure of Him and His Word.
Application: There is a lot to meditate on today in this one chapter of Colossians but by the Spirit, I must walk in His knowledge and wisdom continuously, be and stay strong in Him no matter what my flesh is telling me, therefore lining my soul up with the Holy Spirit so that I am not only pleasing my God but living in the blessing He has offered me.  Keeping in His Word and relying on the Holy Spirit to bring it to my remembrance every time I need it will enable me to do this.

Yes, so much in colossians! Thanks for the breakdown you included. Like that you said steadfast in faith and stability. Unmovable, reliable.
