November 28
We all have so very much to be thankful to the Lord for in our lives!  A daily attitude of gratitude opens up daily miracles!

Esther 3-4, Amos 8, John 7
Apply Today:

People of faith should never be surprised by persecution.
And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
I hope that as Esther was, I would be willing to take a “bullet” for my faith.

I am not learned as biblical scholars yet my Lord teaches me through His Word and Spirit.  My part is to heed and speak to glorify my Lord.  I will not see death until my hour comes and none should mourn for we have a day to be born and a day to die.

I've always thought that serving the lord in dangerous places is an honor. He shows up and brings safety. What would be a better situation than to die doing something for Him?

And didn't He say that if we lose our life we gain it?! I know that doesn't mean we will all die on the mission field but it does mean we must sacrifice our fleshly desires for His purposes to live eternally.

Be thankful and rejoice always! God is good! Thankfulness brings courage of spirit, which then brings courage of soul. Hmmm. Definitely not what the devil would tout as a weapon. So grateful for the Holy Spirit who came because of Jesus Christ! So grateful for Jesus Christ who is now my Lord and Savior who came because He was sent! So grateful for the God the Father who knew what we needed and when. Giving thanks to the Lord is really a mouthful of gratitude! Amen!
