Leaving Carlsbad NM, we drove to Amarillo TX today. We saw a lot of cows! Yesterday we walked through Carlsbad Caverns and man oh man does my body feel it from walking a mile downhill! I always thought the uphill was difficult yet the downhill sure affects the leg muscles LOL! Tomorrow, Lord willing, we will horse back ride for 90 minutes through Palo Duro Canyon which is the 2nd largest Canyon in the US. We are waiting for a call back to see if they have an opening. Wednesday is Norman OK just so we don't have to drive for 10 hours to get to Eric and Denise where we will conclude our family visits and road trip. We have been to Oregon and Nevada and driven in Nevada, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and Texas and will also drive through Oklahoma and Arkansas. We continue to pray for you all regarding the air from Volcano and also praying that this end the 36 year old plume and it all travel underground and into the ocean with no more VOG!
Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree in what you say, that there be no divisions among you, and that you be united with the same understanding and the same conviction. 1 Corinthians 1:10 CSB
Wow, so true, people sin and then lose heart in their life circumstance. I can whine about circumstances turning sour but if it is because of sin in the church, the Lord expects me to deal with it without the whine! Those of you who tithe never have to be concerned about the calamity that befalls those who violate God’s Covenant by stealing what is set apart for Him. What is to be set apart? The tithe, the offering, the helping of the poor (missions)…and anything that the Lord asks of us. He gets the first fruits and we get all the rest which is beyond a great deal. Seriously, who else does this for us? Hmmm, something that is also apparent through these scriptures is that keeping what belongs to the Lord contaminates it and it becomes worthless in our hands. God said to burn it in these passages along with those who stole it! Lord, help those that don’t get that without giving You the first fruits we violate Your Covenant with us and what that will eventually bring into our lives if we are not repentive and make it right with You. I think it best to never enter the Valley of Trouble (Achor)!
This is such a beautiful description of our Messiah! He is faithful and righteous! One of the things I look forward so much to is being able to hang out with the lions and tigers and bears, oh my! I just told Jason this week I can’t wait to tickle a lions belly! How incredible to think that the land will be full of the knowledge of the Lord and all life will flow in harmony.
The Lord is coming to gather me from the islands!
