February 18  Good morning saints!  See you shortly.  Join us for intercessory prayer at 8:30 if you are able.  Today is Mission's Sunday and our Chaplin Mike from the Good News Prison Ministry based in Hilo and his wife will be with us as well as Matthew and Ana from TPC.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 8:38-39 CSB

Exodus 29

Ordaining a minister of the Gospel is serious business and must first be done with the calling and blessing of God.  Second, it requires others to know that God is doing the calling and blessing for the anointing in this arena.  Third, an offering to God seals the deal.  There are no Biblical self-appointed ministers whether under the Law or living under the Spirit of the Law.  If God doesn’t do the calling, appointing and anointing, it is not God’s plan.  What offering did pastor Jason and I give?  We fasted and prayed for three days prior to being ordained by Pastor George.  Neither he nor pastor Burton asked us to do this.  It was the Lord’s doing and the sacrifice was unto Him.  They probably didn't even know.  The ordination was also done publically in front of many witnesses.

I can’t ever take lightly meeting with the Lord for it is a privilege.  The Lord brought me out of the world to dwell with me.  I owe Him everything which is an oxymoron really, because He owns everything!  The point being is the acknowledgment of His ownership including the fact that He owns me!

   See you at the Kapuna Tea!  Awesome movie last night.  Of course, the fellowship is what made it so great!

Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.  Romans 8:35, 37 CSB

Exodus 28

By the particular clothing, our Lord made a distinction between the ministers and others.  I believe that it should be obvious who is a minister (servant) of the Lord by our lifestyle that we wear.  It is important that the pastors keep each of the people in their congregation, over their hearts.  What is sad is that anyone can become an “ordained” minister by paying some company money, online.  What a slap in God’s face.  It’s a calling by God and not a business transaction like buying toilet paper!  I am not saying this for mine or Pastor Jason’s sake but for the glory of God!

February 16     See you at the movies tonight!

For this is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another, 1 John 3:11 CSB

Exodus 27

Throughout these chapters the Lord is giving Moses the specific instructions for the Tabernacle.  As I seek the Lord, He gives me specific instructions on what I need to know also.  Lord, help us build our new church perfectly and with excellence the first time around because You show us how!  Give us the workers that hear Your voice.

I love God’s creation of the olive tree and its fruit.  The trees live for thousands of years, they produce oil for so many things such as light and including an oil that is good for us to eat and the fruit, the olive, is one of my favorite foods.  I love being in Israel in the autumn when so many of the trees are blooming and seeing the olives from light green to black is very enjoyable.

Psalms 81-82

81 I love that the Israeli’s have so many celebrations for the Lord.  I am not speaking just about the Feasts but throughout the month.  Unfortunately like everything else, false worship goes out from “religious” actions that aren’t for the Lord at all such as moon and sun worship.  Do you know that Mohammad initially was a worshipper of the moon and sun?  The Islamic flag still has a crescent moon…There must not be a strange god among you;
you must not bow down to a foreign god.

Listening and obeying the Lord brings blessing into my life.  It’s the road I want to always take.  Holy Spirit, quicken me immediately when I get off from following You and get me back on the straight and narrow road!

82 One of the topics the intercessors at church have been praying about is that justice be served instead of the injustice in our land.  I know that our prayers change circumstances but I also know until our Lord Yeshua reigns, complete justice is impossible because of the corruption of man.  But God!  He will eventually repay the righteous with good and the evil with His justice.

Thank you Lord for the rain in the natural and the rain of Your Spirit in our midst!  Oh, how wondrous are Your ways!

Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.  1 John 4:10 CSB

Exodus 26

ADONAI is specific in what He wants and does.  Everything is intentional with purpose.

Psalms 79-80

79 ADONAI is compassionate and hears our cry outs to Him with His favorable response to us.  His love is far beyond description.  You Shepherd me so wonderfully, my God!  I will continue to declare Your praise.  Let the people praise You, oh God!

80 You Lord are the Shepherd of Israel who saves us and restores us to You unto salvation.  You Lord are the Lord God of Armies.  You face does shine upon us and You alone save us!

14 Return, God of Armies.
Look down from heaven and see;
take care of this vine,
15 the root your right hand planted,
the son that you made strong for yourself.

This is prophetic about our Lord Yeshua.

“I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”  John 13:34-35 CSB

Exodus 24-25

24 There has to be a blood covenant for redemption.

11 For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have appointed it to you to make atonement on the altar for your lives, since it is the lifeblood that makes atonement.  Leviticus 17:11 (CSB)

Joshua was neither an elder nor priest yet because he was Moses’ assistant He was allowed in the Presence of God!  It is good to assist!

25 Because the Lord had the women plunder the Egyptians, all of the material needed to make the tabernacle was available.  The Lord ALWAYS has a plan and purpose and it is not just within our thinking.  ADONAI told Moses, 9 You must make it according to all that I show you-the pattern of the tabernacle as well as the pattern of all its furnishings.”  Again, God’s ways are perfect (Psalm 18:30) and the tabernacle led to the building of the Temple and it all points to the provision our Lord Yeshua made at the Cross.  God never uses second hand store things-He uses the best and beautiful.  This is how He thinks of us!  How could He create anything imperfect?  On our own we are but with Him indwelling us, we are perfect, made in His image and likeness.

48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.  Matthew 5:48 (CSB)
