The Lord my Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like those of a deer and enables me to walk on mountain heights! For the choir director: on stringed instruments.  Habakkuk 3:19 CSB

Judges 4-5

4 Barak abdicated his authority to a woman and the women got the praise for killing Sisera.  God is no respecter of persons and will use anyone willing to do His will.  In that day and age it was infrequent to find women in charge but the Lord knew Deborah who He had anointed to prophecy would follow His will.  Obedience is all it takes for the Lord to give us the victory though He fights the battle!  Obedience, not anything else.  As written many times in this blog:

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.  (1 John 5:3-4)

5 My heart is with the leaders of Israel, with the volunteers of the people.  Blessed be the Lord!

Give praise to God, telling of His righteous acts and the great deeds of His people!

31 Lord, may all your enemies perish as Sisera did.  But may those who love him be like the rising of the sun in its strength.

Isaiah 32

Any place without the Lord is deserted and barren!  The Spirit brings life to all who desire it.  Living righteously brings peace and confidence in the Lord.  It also brings natural abundance with growth in what is planted.

Luke 10

Lord send me and others into the harvest!  Look for those whose heart is filled with peace.  My instructions: eat with those people of peace, share the Gospel with all around and heal the sick.  Whatever food set before me is blessed of my Lord.  When the Lord sends me out, He always has a point person for the rest of the community.  I have witnessed this over and over again with being able to go to leaders in communities whether police, mayors, politicians and the like, on missions trips.  I have an obligation right here in my own community to search for the person of peace so I can by the Spirit gather in the harvest of people for the Kingdom of God.

19 Look, I have given you the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy; nothing at all will harm you. 20 However, don’t rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.

Stick to what the priorities are!

Thank You Father God for revealing Lord Yeshua Messiah to me and thank You Lord Yeshua for revealing the Father to me by Your Spirit!

The greatest commands for loving God and loving others are always to come first.  The Lord’s Word and thus His will define the how on doing this.  Love without compassion is not the kind of love God wants.

Watch out!  Yes keeping occupied in all things God is good but not at the cost of a relationship with Him (or others as He leads)!

Meditation & Application:  Never abdicate the authority the Lord has given me.  This means for me, disciple and equip the saints, preach the Gospel, and bring in the harvest as the Lord leads.  Praise should always flow from my mouth unto God.  Loving God goes without saying!  Love people with compassion.  Heal the sick, heal the sick, heal the sick!
