Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns. See if there is any offensive way in me; lead me in the everlasting way.  Psalm 139:23-24 CSB

Leviticus 14

The Lord is willing and does make provision for those who may not have enough for the larger offerings.  We can't give what we don't have but can give in proportion to what the Lord has given us.  Again, it is His Will always for us to be in health.

Psalms 115-116

115 God gives us His faithful love and truth.  Our God may be in Heaven doing whatever He pleases (from V3) but what pleases Him is to fellowship with us, love us and bless us!  Fearing the Lord and trusting (faith) are two different things.  People can fear the Lord for the wrong reasons and try to please Him with dead works but trusting the Lord works with fearing Him because it’s not that I am afraid He will harm me but I fear Him because He is God, the all-encompassing and powerful One, deserving of glory beyond what He can get from humankind.  You alone Lord are my Help and Shield!

18 But we will bless the Lord, both now and forever.  Hallelujah!

116 The Lord hears my appeal for mercy and gives me new mercies every morning that last throughout eternity.  You, Lord are my Savior!  You are gracious, righteous and compassionate assisting the inexperienced and helpless, giving rest to those who belong to You.

For you, Lord, rescued me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.

How can I repay You Lord for all of Your good to me?  By taking Your cup of salvation, calling on Your Name, fulfilling my vows to You, not secretly, but in the Presence of Your people.  I am Your servant yet you loosed my bonds for all eternity!  I can offer You thanksgiving my God, which seems so miniscule, yet it pleases You my God so I do thank You!

March 6

I received the good news email this morning.  I will not be attending the art residency program in Connecticut at this time.  You say, “Good news”?  Yes, because my life is in the hands of my God and He has an intentional purpose and reason for everything and at this time, this is not it.  Thank You Lord, for leading and guiding me and placing me in the best place each day!  Trusting my God with everything makes life easy, taking ALL of the pressure off of me!

Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you. I will praise your name, for you have accomplished wonders, plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness.  Isaiah 25:1 CSB

Leviticus 12-13

12 Because Mary and Joseph didn’t have “sufficient means” they used turtledoves for their offering when our Lord Yeshua was born.  It sure doesn’t matter how me start, it’s always how we finish!  I came from a poor environment but didn’t even really know it as a child because the Lord provided.  I remember once eating macaroni and butter for several weeks because it was all my mom, (who had to quit school at age 14 to support her mom and siblings and was raising us by herself during this time), didn’t have the money to buy anything else.  I thought it was a treat and still love pasta (not butter though)!  The hand-me-downs of clothes were nice because my cousins had money and bought nice things.  I also went to work part time at 14 (Baskin Robins for $1.25/hour but all the ice cream I could ever want to eat!) and worked all through high school which gave me a good work ethic, not to mention money in my pocket to buy new clothes (those skin tight bell-bottom jeans were important back then LOL) and other things.  Again, it’s never the start, but always the finish and as long as I finish my days loving my God, I could not have a better ending on this earth!

13 I am thankful my God can heal any serious skin disease!  I am also thankful for products that kill mold and mildew, especially living up mauka.

These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.  Deuteronomy 6: 6-7 CSB

Leviticus 11

The animals that were considered unclean were called that for protective purposes (no refrigeration, or diseased).  The first purpose being, to protect people from sickness (what happens to pork if not properly treated?) and to not make others extinct because they are work animals or useful in the food chain.  Think of the allergies many have to water creatures that do not have scales (shrimp, lobster, etc.).  I am grateful that I do not have food allergies.  Having dietary laws is a big separation between the Israelites and all other nations surrounding them. It is still a good reminder in Israel and across the world where Orthodox Jewish people live.

2 Corinthians 6:17 (CSB)

Therefore, come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord; do not touch any unclean thing, and I will welcome you.

March 4

Sorry for the delay as I lost my OHA yesterday right when I was getting ready to post…Full morning but here is March 4 and I have also posted March 5.  Again, thank all of you that were there on Saturday supporting Evelyn.  Evelyn and her family were so very pleased!  Kona Faith Center, you are so awesome and such an example of what loving others is truly about!

Leviticus 9-10

9 There is a preparation that needs to be done before getting into the Presence of our God.  We are not to go before the Lord empty handed.  Everything is from Him so it is honoring to acknowledge this truth with our willingness to give back some of what He entrusts us with.  He asks for so little.  Even with the Trump tax breaks, the government asks for so much more for complete foolish spending when our God receives from us just a small portion of what He has given and then blesses us abundantly with so much more!  This is not just finances, people!  He blesses us with His love and peace and mercy and faithfulness and, and, and…!

10 Aaron’s sons acted foolishly by not fearing and honoring the Lord.  This behavior killed them and they are made example of to all around them (and those of us who read the Bible).  Aaron knew to remain silent as his sons had the opportunity to be chosen Priests of God and they sinned horribly instead.  Sometimes there is nothing we can respond to God with, except our silence.

When anointed by God it is very important not to go where the Lord has not told us to go.  His anointing us is for His purposes and glory.

My position on drinking alcohol (if interested).  We don’t drink alcoholic beverages of any type.

Romans 21-23 21 It is good not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that causes your brother to stumble. 22 The faith that you have, keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who has no reason to pass judgment on himself for what he approves. 23 But whoever has doubts is condemned if he eats, because the eating is not from faith. For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.

2 Corinthians 6:3 We put no obstacle in anyone's way, so that no one can discredit our ministry.

If you are going to drink alcohol, please do it in the privacy of your own home so as not to call one who is weak in this area to stumble.  This is obedience to the second great commandment as our Lord issued.  Yes, love others as ourselves!

10 You must distinguish between the holy and the common, and the clean and the unclean,

God is merciful.  If He weren’t, where would you be right now?  I'd be dead and not in Heaven.  It goes beyond saying how merciful He is!

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways.” This is the Lord’s declaration. “For as heaven is higher than earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.  Isaiah 55:8-9 CSB

Leviticus 8

Ordaining ministers is serious business to God and is always done publicly.  Jason and I both fasted for three days before we were publicly ordained by Pastor George who knew us for 14 years because we served at Thy Word Ministries that entire time.  It is so very shameful that people can get an internet paper saying they are ordained by paying some money!  Lord, help renew the minds of the people to know that You are a Holy God and you have said, therefore, we must be holy (1 Peter 1:16)!
