We believe that the Bible is the true, eternal, inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God that lays out the Learning Process by which man meets His God given Destiny. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV)
We believe there is one God manifested in three personalities – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that everyone must be “Born Again”, that salvation is available to us only by grace accessed by faith in Jesus Christ. John 3:3 (NKJV) / Ephesians 2:5, 8 (NKJV)
We believe that everyone should desire the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the power He brings to live the life that testifies and exemplifies the nature and character of Jesus Christ to the world. We believe that living a Spirit-led life is the only way to walk in the fullness of God’s plan and blessing for our lives. Acts 1:8 / Romans 8
We believe that the community of believers living and working together in common purpose, the church, is God’s only plan to reach people with the Good News of Jesus Christ and to help them live the victorious abundant life that Jesus came to give. Matthew 28:19-20 / John 10:10
We believe in the reality of Satan, his present rule of unregenerate man, that we are in a real war, with a real enemy, that it is the war for men’s souls which will result in the resurrection of unbelievers to everlasting punishment in Hell, that Jesus has already defeated the devil, and that we are to resist the devil by submitting to God and the authority of His Word. John 5:29 / John 12:31 / Ephesians 2:2-3 / Ephesians 6:12 / James 4:7

 

Kona Faith Center’s Core Convictions in Coaching Champion Christians are:

  • Continuous Victorious Living is only found within the context of the Community of Believers therefore Champion Christians are committed to the life and growth of the Community of Believers.
  • Continuous Victorious Living requires Excellence therefore Champion Christians are committed to living the life of Excellence.

The Community of Believers

  • While God interacts with each of us as individuals He primarily interacts with us as the Community of Believers.  We need each other to live the abundant, victorious, triumphant life that Jesus wants us to have.  Therefore we are committed to the life and growth of the Community of Believers.

Excellence

  • God gave His best, we give our best.  Excellence is not perfection.  Excellence is doing something better each time we do it.  The commitment to Excellence is a requirement to live the abundant, victorious, triumphant life that Jesus wants us to have.  By definition Excellence happens only in context of the Community of Believers.
