Welcome to Kona Faith Center’s Youth Page

Here at KFC Youth, Our Purpose is to equip you with the tools necessary for you to “Coach Champions.”  KFC Youth meets every Sunday at 10am.  We also have awesome monthly events throughout the year.  We would love to see you at one of our services and get to know you more!

Kona Faith Center offers exciting monthly Youth events offering wonderful times of fellowship, fun, and most importantly, a wonderful time in the Lord!  The events range from day trips, beach days, over-nighters, and various Island destinations.  We also do fundraising to help offset the cost of upcoming events.  The purpose of these events is to build family-style relationships within the Kona Faith Center’s Youth Group.  Having monthly events is also a great way to invite your friends to join us and learn what we are all about.  Check out the Events page so you can see our monthly calendar of what is to come for the Youth.  This also is a great way to invite other youth to join us!

Youth Arise began in 2005 and developed out of our Pastors love for the Youth of our community as they were the Youth Pastors in the 1980s and ‘90s.  Youth Arise is a week-long camp that consists of sports and fun team-building activities, arts and crafts, and different worship workshops.  We always have great worship and powerful speakers.  The purpose of Youth Arise is to Coach our Youth to become who God has called them to be within the local church body and everywhere they go!

Youth Arise 2018! Information soon to come.

Youth Team

The men of Kona Faith Center meet the last Saturday of every month @ 7:30am at Kona Faith Center.  Join us!

Don't miss these opportunities to meet with our God & Father and with other like-minded men.

Matthew 28:18-20 (NASB95)
18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

These are the last recorded words of our Lord Jesus in the Gospel according the Matthew.  Jesus didn’t say, “May I suggest…” or “If you would like…”  This was His last command to the Believers.  In the Gospel according to Mark, it is written this way:

Mark 16:15 (NASB95)
15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

Again, this isn’t a suggestion or even an option.  Believers are commanded to “Go”.  Although Kona Faith Center is not a mega Church, it is a Word Church that believes what the Bible says is true and we are to fulfill the commands that our Lord gave us, as Spirit-filled, people of faith.  It is never difficult to do anything God sends us forth to do. 1 John 5:3 (CJB) says it like this:

For loving God means obeying his commands. Moreover, his commands are not burdensome,”

The people of Kona Faith Center support Missions locally, on the mainland and internationally through different mission ministries.  We support these mission ministries financially but we also support these mission ministries with our presence.  We send teams to India, the Philippines, Guatemala, and Mexico.  We also participate with our presence through our local Prison Ministry and Pregnancy Center.

The important thing for Kona Faith Center is that we have a relationship with the mission ministries we support.  This insures that our finances and time are spent on mission ministries that have a like minded vision for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Our mission team members are also people that attend Kona Faith Center.

Our teams include youth (high school age) and adults.  Each missionary is responsible for raising their own funds for their participation as well as for giving to those we minister to wherever the Lord sends us.  We do construction trips, youth camps, children’s ministry, leadership conferences, worship in hula and song and anything else the Lord desires to do through us.

Occasionally we have some of our mission ministries send representatives to Kona Faith Center so that all of our Church gets to know the people we support.  You may also see some of our other mission and other ministry friends on our “About Us” page.

For more information regarding Kona Faith Center’s Mission Ministry, contact Pastor Terry.
